University of Haripur’s Leadership Lauded by Higher Education Secretary in Peshawar

Peshawar: The Vice Chancellor of the University of Haripur, Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rehman, recently met with Capt. (R) Kamran Ahmad Afridi, the Secretary of the Higher Education Archives and Libraries Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to discuss the university’s progress in various domains.

During their meeting at the Higher Education Department in Peshawar, Capt. (R) Afridi was briefed on the academic advancements, infrastructural developments, and financial sustainability measures that have been implemented at the University of Haripur. He expressed appreciation for the institution’s progress and particularly praised the leadership of Prof. Dr. Rehman, under whom the university has achieved significant transformation and academic success.

Capt. (R) Afridi also commended the successful execution of the 12th Senate Meeting held on July 16, 2025, citing it as an example of the university’s effective governance and strategic oversight. He recognized the university’s financial strategies and governance model as exemplary within the province’s higher education sector.

Mr. Muhammad Imran, Treasurer of the University of Haripur, was also present and shared insights into the university’s financial planning and transparent budgetary practices.

The meeting underscored the collaboration between the University of Haripur and the Higher Education Department, with a shared goal of enhancing higher education standards across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
