PCB Level-2 Coaching Course Concludes in Lahore

Lahore: The six-day PCB Level-2 coaching course concluded on January 19 at the National Cricket Academy. The program saw 30 participants, including several former and current international cricketers, engage in intensive coaching education and skill assessments.

According to a statement by Pakistan Cricket Board, the course involved theory tests, video analysis, and one-on-one assessments. Participants are required to complete post-course assignments within six months to qualify for Level 2 coaching certificates.

Notable participants included Test cricketers Azhar Ali, Bilawal Bhatti, Naved Latif, Shadab Khan, Wahab Riaz, and Yasir Shah. Also part of the group were internationals Asad Ali, Mohammad Kamran Hussain, and former Pakistan Women’s captain Bismah Maroof.

The course was led by former Test cricketer Saqlain Mushtaq and former international cricketer Dr. Imran Abbas. National Cricket Academy coaches Abdul Majeed, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mauhtashim Rashid, Rahat Abbas Asadi, and Saboor Ahmed also contributed to the training.

Participants spanned a range of cricketing backgrounds, showcasing the PCB’s commitment to developing coaching expertise across the sport.
