Collective Marriage Ceremony Unites 31 Couples in Chakwal

Chakwal: A grand collective marriage ceremony was held under the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Dhee Rani Programme, marking a significant event for 31 couples. Organized by the Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Department, the ceremony provided each couple with Rs. 100,000 as salami and 13 essential household items.

According to a statement by Social Welfare Department, the event in Chakwal was attended by Minister for Transport Bilal Akbar Khan, who served as the chief guest. The ceremony also saw participation from the Director General of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal, along with district administration and departmental officers.

The Dhee Rani Programme aims to support newlyweds by easing their financial burdens and promoting social welfare. The initiative underscores the commitment of the provincial government to assist in the welfare of its citizens through community-focused programs.
