Dawood Sports Triumphs Over Nazimabad Youngsters, Advances to Pre-Quarter Finals

Karachi: Dawood Sports defeated Nazimabad Youngsters by seven wickets, securing their spot in the pre-quarter finals of the Master Oil Inter Club Cricket Tournament at Young Fighters Cricket Ground.

According to a statement by Regional Cricket Association Karachi, the tournament is being held in collaboration with Master Oil Lubricant. The match’s standout performance came from Sohail Khan of Dawood Sports, who scored an impressive 94 runs, including 10 boundaries and six sixes, in just 42 balls.

The day began with Nazimabad Youngsters setting a target of 233 runs for eight wickets in their allotted 40 overs. Kashan Faheem led their batting with a score of 65, followed by contributions from Asim Ullah and Kamran Shafiq, both scoring 42, and Saeed Khan with 32. Jawad Ahmed took three wickets for 38 runs for Dawood Sports.

In response, Dawood Sports reached their target in just 23.4 overs, scoring 234 runs for three wickets. Sohail Khan’s remarkable innings, coupled with Naveed Khan’s unbeaten 77, which included 11 boundaries, and Zakir Malik’s 31, propelled Dawood Sports into the next round.
