Karachi: The Institute of Business and Health Management (IBHM) at Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) has introduced new professional diploma programs focusing on hospital management, healthcare supply chain management, and health informatics.
According to Dow University of Health Sciences, these programs, which range from four to six months in duration, are designed to cater to professionals and graduates seeking to enhance their expertise in these critical sectors of healthcare. The hospital management and leadership, and healthcare supply chain management programs are four months long and cost Rs.60,000 each. The health informatics program spans six months and is priced at Rs.75,000.
Prof. Dr. Asima Faisal, a highly qualified expert with experience in MBA, MBBS, and post-doctorate studies from the USA, will lead these programs. Classes are scheduled to begin on September 29, 2024, with the last date for applications set for September 12, 2024. Eligible candidates must possess at least a bachelor’s degree from an HEC recognized educational institution, with preference given to those already working in relevant fields or those aiming to build a career in these areas.
Courses will be conducted at both the Ojha and DMC campuses of DUHS, with weekend classes available. Additional financial assistance includes a 50% scholarship for DUHS employees and a 10% discount for students who pay their total fee upfront. An installment payment option is also available for external applicants.
