Brussels: Huzaifa Shahid, a rising squash player from Pakistan, has progressed to the finals of the Belgian Junior Open Squash Championship 2026 in the Under-17 category. He achieved this by defeating two top-seeded players in the tournament, showcasing his skills and potential on an international stage.

According to Pakistan Squash Federation, Shahid first secured a victory over the tournament's second seed, Clement Lubran from France, in a challenging quarterfinal match that ended with a score of 3-2. Following this, he triumphed over the third seed, Thornton Robin from Germany, in the semifinal. Shahid is now set to compete against the top seed, Oleksii Bielikov of Germany, in the final round of the championship.
