Mardan: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan has announced the second merit lists for admissions to its BSc Engineering programs for the fall semester of 2024, encompassing degrees in Software, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Telecommunication Engineering. The lists cover both Open Merit and Rationalized Seats, with specified fee structures for each category.
According to University of Engineering and Technology – Mardan, candidates who have made it to the second merit lists are required to appear for admission interviews scheduled for the 2nd and 3rd of September, 2024. These interviews will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the university’s Directorate of Admissions. Applicants are instructed to bring several original documents, including their Matric Certificate, FSc documents, Domicile Certificate, CNIC or B-Form, and affidavits, which are also available on campus. A Migration Certificate may be submitted within one week after classes begin.
The fee structure varies by program and seat type. For the BSc Computer Software and Civil Engineering programs, fees are set at Rs. 60,663 for Open Merit seats and Rs. 108,200 under the Rationalized Scheme. Meanwhile, fees for the BSc Mechanical, Electrical, and Telecommunication Engineering programs are Rs. 58,475 for Open Merit and Rs. 108,200 for Rationalized Seats. Additionally, students interested in hostel facilities must pay an annual fee of Rs. 28,900 and a refundable security fee of Rs. 6,000.
Applicants must confirm their admission on the specified dates. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their candidacy, and they will not be considered for subsequent merit lists.
