Pasban Democratic Party Calls for Political Solution to Balochistan Crisis

Karachi: Abdullah Mansoor, President of the Pasban Democratic Party Human Rights Advocacy, has stated that mere condemnation of the ongoing wave of terrorism in Balochistan by the government is insufficient. He emphasized the need for a deep understanding and a political resolution to address the region’s challenges, focusing on the protection of common people over VIPs.

According to Pasban Democratic Party, Mansoor criticized the current approach to security and highlighted the sacrifices of both security forces and Baloch youth in the region. He called for an end to the era of labeling individuals as traitors and urged for serious consideration of the underlying issues. Mansoor stressed the importance of safeguarding the lives and properties of ordinary citizens, making highways safer, and understanding the internal conflicts that are exacerbated by external influences.

Mansoor also pointed out the need to counteract enemy propaganda by focusing on fundamental rights and employment opportunities for the people of Balochistan. He questioned the handling of captured terrorists, suggesting that leniency might undermine efforts to stabilize the region.

The call for a political solution comes amid increasing violence and discontent in Balochistan, urging stakeholders to prioritize the well-being of the populace over political and security elites.
