MQI Lahore Announces 41st International Milad Conference

Lahore: Minhaj-ul-Quran International in Lahore is set to host its 41st International Milad Conference, as announced in a recent meeting chaired by Professor Zulfiqar Ali, President of MQI Lahore. The meeting, attended by district and PP officials, focused on preparations for the event, which aims to draw participants from diverse professional backgrounds across the city.

According to Minhaj-ul-Quran International announcement issued on 25 August 2024, Professor Zulfiqar Ali emphasized the importance of the conference as a manifestation of devotion to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He outlined plans to extend invitations to a broad spectrum of the community, including leaders from various sectors such as business, academia, and civil society. The highlight of the event will be torch-bearing processions throughout Lahore to welcome the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, symbolizing the start of MQI’s Milad celebrations. This annual event, held at Minar-e-Pakistan, is a long-standing tradition, now in its 41st year.

Professor Ali also noted that reception camps will be set up across the Lahore Division and at key entry points to the city to welcome attendees from other regions, ensuring a grand and inclusive celebration of Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
