PTI Senior Leader Dismisses Allegations of Interference by Bushra Bibi and Faiz Hameed

Lahore: Musrat Jamshed Cheema, a senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has vehemently denied any interference by Bushra Bibi and Faiz Hameed in the party’s decision-making processes. In a recent statement, Cheema clarified that Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, has never directly engaged with party leaders regarding party matters.

According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Cheema emphasized that the assumptions about Bushra Bibi’s involvement are baseless and do not align with reality. She stressed that her interactions with party founder Imran Khan were purely professional and that he never instructed her to contact Faiz Hameed on any matters. Cheema’s remarks come amid widespread speculation about the internal dynamics within PTI.

Further elaborating on the party’s stance, Cheema remarked that discussions between a husband and wife within the privacy of their home should not be construed as interference in party affairs. She reiterated the party’s call for an independent investigation into the events of May 9, reflecting PTI’s ongoing concerns about political manipulation by what they term “fake rulers.”

Cheema also commented on the political landscape in Pakistan, suggesting that the opposition fears Imran Khan’s influence, as evidenced by their reactions and the public’s continued interest in his leadership compared to other political figures.
