Karachi: The Master Oil Inter Club Cricket Tournament, hosted by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi and sponsored by Master Oil Lubricants, saw Aga Khan Gymkhana and Students Sports secure victories in their respective matches yesterday. Aga Khan Gymkhana won convincingly against Dawood Sports Colts, while Students Sports dispatched Wireless Gymkhana with ease.

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, the first match at Aga Khan Gymkhana ground featured the home team posting a total of 196 runs, with significant contributions from Sinnan Noor, Saleem A. Rahim, and Mir Afzal Baig. Despite Dawood Sports Colts’ efforts, they were restricted to 118 runs, thanks largely to the bowling prowess of Mir Afzal Baig and Nabil Rahmat, who took four wickets each.

In the second fixture at Students Sports Ground, Students Sports chased down a modest target set by Wireless Gymkhana, who were all out for 71. Umar Zafar’s unbeaten 26 guided Students Sports to a comfortable win with seven wickets in hand, underscoring their strong performance in the tournament.
