Rawalkot: Vice-Chancellor Poonch University Professor Dr. Muhammad Zakaria Zakir emphasized the power of determination and hard work during a speech to students, highlighting the success of Arshad Nadeem, a middle-class youth from Mian Chanu who recently won a gold medal at the Paris Olympics.

According to University of Poonch Rawalakot, Dr. Zakir addressed a delegation of students, stating that Nadeem’s triumph is a testament to overcoming adversity through sheer persistence and dedication. He pointed out that one’s background does not fix their future; instead, it is shaped by their determination and passion. This philosophy is what he wishes to instill in the students of Jamia Poonch.

Dr. Zakir further announced the construction of a world-class sports ground and complex at Jamia Poonch to nurture and display the students’ talents. He assured them of all possible support, including financial aid for those excelling in sports, urging them to embrace hard work and dedication to realize their potential.
