Lahore: The Labor Wing of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) organized a grand celebration in Lahore to commemorate Pakistan’s Independence Day, emphasizing national unity and the historical sacrifices made for the country’s freedom.
According to Pakistan Muslim League (N), “The event was marked by speeches that reflected on the significance of August 14th, the day when Pakistan was established based on the two-nation theory and the Kalima Tayyaba.” The celebration, held at the Naseerabad Office, was attended by notable figures including Syed Najamul Hasan Shah, President of the Lahore Labor Wing, and Syed Mushtaq Hussain Shah, the Special President of the Punjab Labor Wing.
During his address, Syed Najamul Hasan Shah reminded attendees of the sacrifices that led to Pakistan’s independence and urged citizens to appreciate their freedom and honor the unity under the national flag. He stressed the importance of setting aside personal differences for the sake of national interests and highlighted the collective responsibility of Pakistanis to value and protect the legacy of independence.
The event saw a large turnout of league workers and featured speeches from several key members of the PML-N, who echoed the sentiments of unity and gratitude for the freedoms afforded by the independent state of Pakistan.
