Sargodha: The University of Sargodha commemorated Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day with a flag-hoisting ceremony outside the Vice Chancellor’s office, alongside a series of celebratory and reflective activities involving the university community.
According to University of Sargodha, Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mian Gulam Yasin led the flag-hoisting event, joined by faculty, staff, students, and numerous children, all participating with great enthusiasm. Dr. Yasin highlighted the sacrifices made for Pakistan’s establishment, emphasizing the need to adhere to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s principles of faith, unity, and discipline to foster national development.
The day was filled with various activities, including an Independence Day walk, tree planting to address environmental concerns, a cake-cutting ceremony, and a speech competition, all designed to renew the commitment to national progress and celebrate the country’s independence.
