JUP President Urges Pakistani Rulers to Learn from Bangladesh’s Political Crisis

Karachi: Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Mohammad Zubair, President of Jamiat Ulema Pakistan and the National Solidarity Council, has issued a stark warning to Pakistan’s leadership, urging them to learn from the political upheavals in Bangladesh. He emphasized the importance of empathy towards the citizenry’s hardships and advocated for resolving issues through dialogue rather than oppression.

According to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan, Dr. Zubair advised against the use of violence to silence opposition, cautioning that such tactics could lead to a rapid and undignified exit from power, akin to what some Bangladeshi leaders have experienced. He stressed the need for immediate action to address public grievances and encouraged negotiations with adversaries to foster a stable and inclusive political environment.
