Karachi: Altaf Shakoor, Chairman of the Pasban Democratic Party, has declared the killing of Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas’s political department, a significant loss to the Palestinian freedom movement and a destabilizing act that threatens regional peace. Shakoor emphasized the need for unity within the Muslim Ummah in response to what he described as manipulative actions by enemy elements, specifically accusing Mossad of exacerbating regional tensions.
According to Pasban Democratic Party, the assassination aimed to incite conflict among Muslims and escalate hostilities in the region. Shakoor criticized major powers for their inaction and failure to uphold United Nations and World Court directives, which he argued contributes to ongoing global instability. He urged the international community to reject Israel’s expansionist actions and to support Palestine’s right to self-determination in the interest of global peace.
