Haripur: The University of Haripur and the Office of the Deputy Commissioner in Haripur have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at enhancing academic and research cooperation. The partnership will focus on joint educational initiatives, research projects, and training programs to foster mutual development in various sectors.
According to The University of Haripur, the MoU was signed amidst the presence of senior officials from both institutions, setting a framework for a variety of collaborative efforts. These include student internships, performance evaluations, faculty and student exchanges, and the organization of scientific seminars and workshops. The agreement is designed to enrich the educational experiences of students by providing them with practical training opportunities within the district’s line departments.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rahman of the University of Haripur expressed enthusiasm about the partnership’s potential to advance research and educational standards. He emphasized the benefits of integrating practical training with academic learning, which he believes will enhance public service efficiency and contribute to the professional growth of students and the community.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr. Islah ud Din highlighted the mutual advantages of such collaborations, noting their importance in driving community development and building a stronger educational foundation within the district.
