University of Kotli Azad Jammu and Kashmir to Launch Legal Education Programs

Kotli: The University of Kotli Azad Jammu and Kashmir is set to introduce legal education, marking a significant development in its academic offerings. This initiative, aimed at enhancing the institution’s reputation within the legal education sphere, follows productive discussions between the university’s registrar and prominent legal figures in Pakistan.

According to University of Kotli Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Sir Shamsul Hassan Syed Azeemi, the Registrar of the University, recently met with Barrister Ali Saim Saleem, Private Secretary to the President of Pakistan, and Barrister Usama Maalik, Director of the Directorate General Legal Education at the Pakistan Bar Council. These meetings underscore the national support and priority given to accrediting the new program at the University.

The upcoming Pakistan Bar Council meeting will focus on the accreditation agenda for the University of Kotli, emphasizing its importance. Dr. Syed shared his vision for the university’s law department, aspiring to set new benchmarks in legal education not only locally but also nationally and internationally.
