National Productivity Organization Seeks Collaboration with Punjab University to Boost Sector Efficiency

Lahore: Chief Executive Officer of the National Productivity Organization (NPO), Engineer Muhammad Alamgir, recently met with Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood to discuss potential collaborations aimed at enhancing sector productivity. The meeting, held at the university’s office, also saw the participation of PU Academic Staff Association Vice President Dr Ghalib Atta.

According to University of the Punjab, Engineer Alamgir highlighted the objectives of the Federal Ministry of Industry and Production during his discourse with the Vice Chancellor. He emphasized NPO’s role as the representative of Japan’s Asian Productivity Organization, which includes 21 countries, in guiding the efficiency of production across service and manufacturing sectors.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, underscored the importance of leveraging NPO’s expertise through seminars organized by the ORIC and Academic Staff Association. He proposed a strategic roadmap to optimize service delivery using fewer resources and less time.
