Punjab University Confers PhD Degrees on Seven Scholars

Lahore: In a recent academic session, Punjab University has conferred PhD degrees upon seven scholars across a variety of disciplines, marking a significant achievement in their respective fields of study.

According to University of the Punjab, the degrees were awarded in diverse academic areas, reflecting the university’s broad scope of specialized research capabilities. The recipients include Abdul Rehman, who completed his studies in Islamic Studies, and Sameen Ahmed, who was recognized for her work in Molecular Biology and Forensic Sciences. Other awardees are Wajiha Kanwal in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, Shahzad Islam in Urdu, Absar Ahmad in Zoology, Quratulain in Public Health, and Gulnaz Pervaiz in Biotechnology.
