Mardan, The University of Engineering and Technology Mardan has issued a corrigendum to its previously advertised Request for Proposal for the outsourcing of cleaning, gardening, and other Class-IV services. This corrigendum includes several key amendments and extensions to the original tender notice.
According to University of Engineering and Technology – Mardan, the changes are as follows: The technical bid opening, which was originally set for March 26, 2024, has been postponed to April 5, 2024. Furthermore, a pre-bid meeting is now scheduled for April 2, 2024, to clarify any questions bidders may have and discuss potential changes resulting from the meeting, which will be updated on both the university’s and KPPRA’s websites.
The corrigendum also specifies alterations to the tender documents, such as the deletion of a financial proposal item and the adjustment of quantities for certain line items. Additionally, the threshold for qualifying marks in the technical bid has been raised from 50 to 70 out of 100. The eligibility criteria have been expanded to include private sector entities alongside public sector ones, with ISO Certificates and valid registrations with BOI and ESSI now among the required documents for bidding.
Despite these modifications, all other terms and conditions of the tender remain the same. The announcement aims to ensure transparency and provide equal opportunity for all potential bidders.
