Punjab Arts Council Celebrates Culture with Mehfil-e-Mushaira

Rawalpindi, The Punjab Council of the Arts recently hosted a vibrant Mehfil-e-mushaira, marking Punjab Culture Day, an event dedicated to celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Punjab. The gathering was graced by the presence of renowned poet Anjum Salimi, who presided over the event, with Nasir Ali Nasir serving as the host for the evening. Muhammad Shakur, Director of the Arts Council, attended as a special guest, highlighting the deep historical roots and the distinct identity of Punjabi culture on a global stage.

According to Punjab Arts Council, Muhammad Shakur emphasized the province’s cultural richness, noting that Punjabis worldwide are recognized for their unique cultural identity.
