Punjab University Mathematics Department to Host Scholarly Seminar Series

Lahore, The Department of Mathematics at the University of the Punjab is scheduled to conduct a series of seminars on March 13, 2024, featuring three speakers who will present on advanced topics in mathematical physics and applied mathematics. These seminars are part of the department’s ongoing initiative to foster academic discourse and knowledge sharing among faculty and research students.

According to University of The Punjab, the seminar will host presentations by Huziafa Aman on Matter Bounce Scenario in matter geometry coupled theory, Muhammad Arslan on Wave transmission to the improved Boussinesq equation and the doubly dispersive equation using the unified auxiliary equation method algorithms with applications, and Muhammad Sulaiman Riaz on Traveling wave solutions for the doubly dispersive equation and the improved Boussinesq equation by extended hyperbolic function method. The seminars are set to commence at 2:00 PM in the university’s Department of Mathematics.
