IIUI Alumnus Dr. Hendri Tanjung Discusses Collaboration with University President

Islamabad, Dr. Hendri Tanjung, a notable alumnus of the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), and current Associate Professor of Islamic Economics and Deputy Director at the Post Graduate School of Ibn Khaldun University in Bogor, Indonesia, held a meeting with IIUI President Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi on Thursday. The visit, aimed at fostering academic collaboration, underscores the ongoing commitment between IIUI and its alumni to enhance educational and research opportunities.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad, during his visit, Dr. Tanjung, who has completed both his MPhil and PhD in economics at IIUI, engaged in productive discussions with President Alotaibi about establishing meaningful partnerships between IIUI and Ibn Khaldun University. These talks focused on advancing knowledge and international understanding through joint academic projects and research initiatives.

President Alotaibi highlighted the critical role such collaborations play in enhancing the academic and research interactions between the two institutions. The meeting was facilitated by Dr. Sonia Irum, Incharge of the Alumni Office at IIUI, who warmly welcomed Dr. Tanjung and emphasized the university’s dedication to maintaining strong ties with its alumni network and promoting international cooperation in education.
