Karachi, The Regional Da’wah Center (RDC) Sindh, Karachi, in conjunction with the Da’wah Academy of the International Islamic University Islamabad and the Government College of Physical Education Sukkur, has launched a Two-Day Islamic Training Program for Lecturers. This initiative aims to enhance the understanding and teaching of Islamic principles among educators.
According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the program kicked off with Dr. Syed Aziz ur Rehman, the in-charge of RDC (Sindh), providing an insightful introduction to the Qur’an, highlighting its miraculous nature and its comprehensive role in enhancing economic, social, educational, and political aspects of life. The opening ceremony saw Dr. Shahzad Chana, the program coordinator, outlining the objectives and giving an overview of the Da’wah Academy’s mission and activities.
The event was graced by the Principal of Physical Education College Sukkur, Professor Amjad Ali Chana, who commended the organizers for their initiative, recognizing its significance for the region’s educators. The ceremony also featured insights from Meezan Bank Vice President Tasnimul Haq Farooqi on “Team Management,” emphasizing the critical role of collaboration and strategic planning in achieving success. The program promises further enriching sessions, including a talk by Master Trainer Nisar Musa Baloch.

Islamabad, Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Islamabad (BUHSCI) is inviting sealed bids for the supply and installation of laboratory equipment, marking a significant step towards enhancing its educational infrastructure. The university is seeking bids from GST-registered firms/suppliers that are capable of delivering high-quality equipment and ensuring its installation at the designated site within the BU Health Sciences Campus in Islamabad.
The procurement process emphasizes the need for suppliers to demonstrate their ability to supply and install the specified equipment, providing authorization from the principal/manufacturer, evidence of similar project experience, and valid tax registration documents. Additionally, the university mandates a one-year standard warranty for all equipment, with an option for an additional one-year extended warranty, ensuring reliability and longevity of the supplied items.
The bidding documents, detailing specifications and the scope of work, are available for purchase at Bahria University’s Head Office. Interested firms must submit their technical and financial bids by February 19, 2024, adhering to a single-stage two-envelope bidding procedure as per PPRA Rule 36(b).
