Lahore, The Pak-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) celebrated the Chinese New Year with a vibrant event at Faletti’s Hotel, attended by a delegation from Punjab University. The event, which showcased the cultural bond between Pakistan and China, saw performances by students of the PU Confucius Institute and was graced by notable personalities from political, social, and business circles.

According to University of The Punjab, the university’s delegation, comprised of teachers and students and led by the Host Director of PU Confucius Institute Prof Dr. Shafiq ur Rahman, took an active part in the festivities. Their rendition of Chinese songs was a highlight of the celebration, infusing the event with traditional Chinese cultural elements.

The event provided a platform for the exchange of greetings and discussions on various topics of mutual interest. Dr. Shafiq ur Rahman held a meeting with the President of PCJCCI, while the Chinese Consul General took the opportunity to engage with the faculty and students from Punjab University, offering them words of encouragement and motivation.
