Virtual University Marks its 13th Convocation with Celebrations in Narowal

Lahore, The Virtual University of Pakistan recently held the third phase of its 13th Convocation in Narowal, celebrating the academic accomplishments of its students. The event, hosted at the JMK Event Complex, was graced by the presence of Dr. Munawar Sultana Mirza, Former Vice Chancellor of the University of Education, as the Chief Guest.

According to Virtual University of Pakistan, Prof. Dr. Arshad Saleem Bhatti, Rector of Virtual University, delivered an insightful address, highlighting the university’s significant contributions to national development, particularly in underdeveloped areas of Pakistan. Dr. Bhatti also shared news of the university’s recent international achievements, including receiving the Excellence Award from the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE) and securing a top position among Cisco Premier Partners.

The convocation was a landmark event, with a total of 2,729 degrees awarded to students from Narowal, Sialkot, and surrounding regions. The degrees spanned various disciplines, including Associate Programs, B.Ed., Bachelor (2-year), BS (4-year), Masters, and MS programs, reflecting the diverse academic programs offered by the university.

Dr. Munawar Sultana Mirza, in her address, applauded the significant strides made by Virtual University and congratulated the graduates and their parents on their achievements. She also expressed her best wishes for their future endeavors.
