Islamabad, Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Islamabad (BUHSCI) has opened a tender for the supply and installation of IT, office, and video conferencing equipment. The process is aimed at enhancing the technological infrastructure of the campus, ensuring a modern and efficient environment for students and staff.
According to Bahria University, the tender is open to GST registered firms and suppliers. The university is seeking bids for a wide range of equipment, as detailed in the bidding documents. These documents can be acquired from the Office of DD Procurement at Bahria University’s Head Office in Sector E-8, Islamabad. Interested firms are required to submit a written application on the company’s letterhead, including the NTN Number, and a non-refundable fee of Rs.5,000 in the form of a Pay Order or Demand Draft in favor of Bahria University Islamabad.
The bidding process follows a single-stage two-envelope procedure. Bidders are required to submit their sealed bids in accordance with the instructions provided in the bidding documents by February 15, 2024, at 11:00 AM. The technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. It is important to note that conditional or incomplete bids will be considered non-responsive. Additionally, a 2% bid security of the total bid value must be submitted in the shape of a Pay Order or Demand Draft in favor of “Bahria University Islamabad.”
Bahria University has emphasized that bidders should provide their best and final prices, inclusive of all applicable taxes, transportation, and installation costs. The university also reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals at any time before acceptance, as per Rule 33 of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rules 2004.
