Faisalabad, In a major political rally in Kanjowani, Senior Vice President of Isthaqam Pakistan Party and candidate for Constituency NA 97, Humayun Akhtar Khan, outlined extensive development plans for the region. He emphasized transformative initiatives for farmers and youth, aiming to establish the area as an economic hub.
According to Istehkam-e-Pakistan, the event witnessed a significant gathering of local leaders, IPP workers, and community members. Ahsan Riaz Fatiana, who resigned from NA 97 in favor of Khan, along with other prominent figures such as Fatiana, Rana Sohail Wakil Khan, Chaudhry Abdul Sattar Gujjar, and several more, announced their support for Khan and his panel.
Khan’s speech highlighted various development strategies, including establishing hundreds of new industries in an industrial zone near M3, which is expected to create numerous job opportunities and drive economic growth. He also proposed plans for agricultural advancements, such as setting up warehouses for farmers to store produce and obtain loans, converting agricultural tubewells to solar power, and introducing a digital app for Fair Price Shops to provide quality seeds and fertilizers.
The candidate expressed concerns about youth unemployment and outlined plans to foster the IT sector, create IT education institutes, and attract private IT companies to the area. Furthermore, he mentioned initiatives for providing quality education and health facilities at the Union Council level, implementing modern machinery in major hospitals, installing filtration plants for clean drinking water, and improving infrastructure like roads and sewage systems.
In his commitment to the region, Khan asserted that his future political endeavors would focus on the development of the area and the well-being of its residents.
