Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Addresses Rally in Peshawar, Emphasizes PPP’s Commitment to Solving National Crises

Peshawar, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, delivered a passionate speech to a large gathering in Peshawar, underlining the party’s dedication to addressing Pakistan’s multifaceted crises and emphasizing its commitment to the laborers and workers.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed his appreciation for the overwhelming support from the Jiyalas (party workers) despite challenges. He criticized rival political parties for their divisive politics and contrasted PPP’s courage and commitment to facing security threats with that of other parties. He stressed that the PPP, following the legacy of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, is undeterred by intimidation and is contesting elections to safeguard the country and its people.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari outlined the PPP’s manifesto, focusing on economic growth, social welfare, and empowerment of women and farmers. He promised to double wages within five years, provide free electricity to deserving citizens, and build three million houses, giving ownership rights to women. He also pledged to expand the Benazir Income Support Programme, introduce interest-free loans for women, and launch the ‘Benazir Kissan Card’ for farmers. The ‘Benazir Mazdoor Card’ for laborers and a ‘Youth Card’ to assist young job seekers were also among the initiatives he mentioned.

The PPP chairman condemned the use of terrorism as a tool for political leverage and criticized the PTI and PML-N for their politics of hatred and division. He accused these parties of attempting to push Pakistan back to the politics of the 1990s and reiterated PPP’s focus on modernizing the country.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stressed that the PPP is the only party genuinely representing the common people and is committed to resolving the issues facing farmers, laborers, youth, and the underprivileged. He emphasized the PPP’s unique position in the upcoming elections, campaigning on its own manifesto, unlike other parties, which he claimed were riding on the achievements of the PPP.

During his campaign, Chairman Bilawal expressed his ambition to end the politics of hatred and division, vowing to introduce a new political era focusing on people’s welfare. He highlighted the PPP’s history of confronting and overcoming challenges and reiterated its resolve to continue working for the people of Pakistan with renewed determination.
