Pakistan Karate Federation Hosts National Men and Women Karate Championships 2024

Karachi, The “Chairman HEC” 30th National Men and 16th National Women Karate Championship 2024, alongside the Al-Kabir National Junior and Cadet Karate Championships 2024, kicked off with fervent participation. The event, which began on January 26, saw over 300 players from 10 teams across Pakistan compete in various karate disciplines, demonstrating both skill and sportsmanship.

According to Pakistan Karate Federation, the opening ceremony featured the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) as the chief guest, who highlighted HEC’s continued support for karate and its athletes. The Chairman of the Pakistan Karate Federation (PKF) also expressed gratitude towards HEC and Al-Kabir Developers for their sponsorship, underscoring the vital role of corporate backing in the development of sports.

As the tournament progresses, the Army team has emerged as a strong contender, securing 4 gold and 3 silver medals, while WAPDA has obtained 3 gold and 2 silver medals. This level of competition reflects the dedication and hard work of the participants.
