UVAS Launches Digitalization at Pet Center and Smart Classroom at Pasha Block

Lahore, The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) in Lahore has taken a significant step towards modernizing its educational and clinical facilities. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Nasim Ahmad, along with Director Information Technology Center Mr. Rizwan Saleem and other dignitaries, inaugurated a Smart Classroom at the Pasha Block City Campus and a digitalization system at the Small Animal Clinical Sciences (Pet Centre).

According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the Smart Classroom at the Pasha Block is a state-of-the-art facility featuring 30 computers, a smart board (Idea hub), a primary LED screen, and an audio mixer, among other essential facilities. This installation reflects the Higher Education Commission’s and UVAS’s dedicated commitment to the advancement of education.

Following this, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Nasim Ahmad and other dignitaries inaugurated the digitalization system at the Small Animal Clinical Sciences (Pet Centre). This new system is designed to enhance the facilitation of pet owners. The inauguration was attended by numerous senior faculty members, stakeholders, veterinary professionals, pet practitioners, pet lovers, faculty members, and students, marking a significant moment for the university.

The digitalization of the Pet Centre represents UVAS’s commitment to integrating advanced technology in veterinary care and education. These developments aim to improve the learning experience for students and provide more efficient and effective services to pet owners and animals in need of care.
