Rawalpindi Conference Stresses Spiritual Legacy and Defense of Principles

Rawalpindi, In a significant gathering organized by the Movement for the Implementation of Jurisprudence of Jafaria (TNFJ), the Sagheer-e-Karbala conference held in Rawalpindi focused on the spiritual legacy of Shi’ism and the defense of foundational principles. The conference highlighted the importance of adopting the spirit of historical figures in Shi’a Islam for contemporary challenges and the defense of the homeland.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the conference, which coincided with the 9th of Rajab Al-Murjab celebration of Hazrat Ali Asghar (A.S.)’s birthday, emphasized the need to use the example of Ali Asghar (A.S.) from Karbala as a beacon. The declaration issued at the conference called for adopting the spirit of Hazrat Mukhtar Thaqafi and the family of Muhammad (PBUH) for the protection and defense of the country and to challenge systems of oppression.

Leaders of the TNFJ, including Allama Hussain Makdisi, underscored the continuation of the spiritual mission of Mukhtar, a legacy inherited from Shia leader Agha Mousavi. The conference elected Saeeb Ali Jafri as the Central President of Mukhtar Generation Pakistan and Kazem Abbas as the Central Secretary General.

Allama Basharat Hussain Emami, speaking at the conference, highlighted the role of the elders of Mukhtar’s caravan in supporting Pakistan’s defense. He stressed that the martyrdom of Sagheer (A.S.) from Karbala has been a source of inspiration and grief for the oppressed worldwide. Emami criticized the allowance of banned organizations during elections, calling it a mockery of the law, and confirmed TNFJ’s stance of not supporting any political party or candidate.

Allama Baqir Naqvi paid tribute to the organization of the Asghar (A.S.) Karbala Conference, stating that Hazrat Ali Asghar (A.S.) symbolizes the completion of Karbala’s message. He commented on the eternal impact of Sagheer (A.S.)’s martyrdom on oppressors.

Central President of Mukhtar Generation Saeeb Ali Jafari mentioned that the leader of Shi’ism Agha Mousavi had opened the door of eternal salvation by creating a spiritual family. Jafari announced plans to bring children across the country to the platform of Generation to make them aware of Ali Asghar’s determination.

The conference also saw resolutions passed committing to defend the country and condemning ongoing brutality in Kashmir and Palestine. A special cake was cut to celebrate Hazrat Ali Asghar (A.S.)’s birthday, and Allama Waqar Naqvi concluded the conference with a prayer.

The Sagheer-e-Karbala conference in Rawalpindi highlighted the TNFJ’s emphasis on spiritual values and principles in addressing contemporary social and political issues.
