Junaid Khan Appointed as Pakistan U19 Bowling Coach for ICC U19 World Cup

Lahore, Former left-arm pacer, Junaid Khan, has been appointed as the Pakistan U19 bowling coach for the upcoming ICC U19 World Cup. This decision follows the unavailability of Rehan Riaz, who had to opt-out due to a family emergency.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, Junaid Khan brings a wealth of experience to the role. He has previously served as the head coach of the Islamabad Region, leading the team to success in the Hanif Mohammad Trophy and Hanif Mohammad Cup for the 2023-24 season. The 34-year-old has an impressive international cricket career, having represented Pakistan in 107 matches and taking 189 wickets.

Junaid’s appointment is seen as a valuable addition to the U19 team’s coaching staff, bringing his extensive experience and success at the international level to guide the young bowlers in the upcoming world cup.
