Islamabad, Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya (TNFJ) in Pakistan has announced the celebration of International Women’s Greatness Day from 17 to 20 Jumadi al-Thani, coinciding with the birth of Prophet Muhammad’s daughter, Hazrat Batul (AS). The event, established by Quaid Millat Jafaria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi, aims to acknowledge and honor the significance of women in Islam.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the Central Secretary General, Allama Raja Basharat Hussain Emami, emphasized the importance of this celebration. He encouraged holding Anwar gatherings across the country during these days to extend congratulations to the shrine of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and to pray for the eradication of threats to the Islamic world, as well as for the security, stability of Pakistan, and the success of its forces.
Raja Basharat Emami highlighted the sanctity and dignity bestowed upon women by the existence of Fatima Zahra (AS), stating that she symbolizes the greatness of women. The celebration of International Women’s Day on the occasion of Hazrat Fatima Zahra’s birth, he noted, should be marked by presenting gifts at the Prophet’s shrine.
Emami called on the government to make special arrangements throughout the country for International Women’s Day and urged the media to provide extensive coverage of the pious programs, fairs, conferences, and birthday celebrations dedicated to Khatun Muazzam.
Furthermore, TNFJ has established a Women’s Day Committee to oversee the celebrations. The committee is convened by Dr. Ali Mehdi Naqvi, with Syed Samarul Hasan Naqvi as the deputy convener and DM Hydari as the secretary. Mrs. Jabarnaqvi will supervise the women’s programs.
The celebration of International Women’s Greatness Day by TNFJ reflects a commitment to honoring the profound contributions and status of women in Islam, particularly in the context of Hazrat Fatima Zahra’s life and legacy.
