Karachi, In a significant educational event, participants of the 87th Islamic Orientation Program (IOP) for Teachers, conducted by Dawah Academy of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), embarked on an exploratory visit to the university’s New Campus this Tuesday.
According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khan, Director (Academics & Examinations) at IIUI. The group, consisting of educators from various cities, gathered in the Council Hall of the Administration Block where they received an extensive briefing about the university.
Dr. Khan presented an in-depth overview of IIUI, including its infrastructure, faculties, departments, constituent units, and centers. He also shed light on the developmental initiatives led by IIUI’s President, H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, particularly focusing on the university’s Strategic Plan for 2022-2026. This plan underlines the university’s vision and goals for the coming years.
Highlighting the importance of such training programs, Dr. Khan praised Dawah Academy’s efforts in organizing specialized Islamic training for various societal segments. He noted the positive societal impact these programs aim to achieve. The visit also included a tour of the Central Library at the New Campus, showcasing the university’s commitment to providing comprehensive educational resources.
