Rawalpindi, The Tehreek Nifaz y-Fiqah Jafariya Pakistan (TNFJ) has announced the celebration of the ‘Days of Mother Abbas Alamdar’ from 9th to 13th Jumadi al-Thani throughout the country. Central Vice President Makhdoom Syed Farzand Ali Shah Kazmi declared the observance in honor of the martyrdom of Hazrat Umm Al-Banin, with events focused on her exemplary life and virtues. The celebration aims to commemorate her role as a symbol of courage and commitment to religious and ethical principles.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the observance will include a series of events to honor the life and contributions of Hazrat Umm al-Banin, especially her courage and dedication as the mother of Abul Fazl al-Abbas and her connection to the revered figures of Amir-ul-Mu’minin and Fatima Zahra. Syed Farzand Ali Kazmi emphasized that the commemoration of her martyrdom is an opportunity to reaffirm the commitment to Tawheed, Versalat, Wulayat, and Hussainism, principles central to the faith.
Kazmi highlighted that the celebration is not only a tribute to Hazrat Umm Al-Banin but also a recognition of the significant sacrifices made by women throughout history for religion and Shariah. He appealed to the Islamic community to honor her memory through mourning processions and prayers for the nation’s safety and security. Furthermore, Kazmi called on the government to provide special arrangements for the mourning programs and urged media outlets to provide comprehensive coverage of these events.
A committee, headed by Malik Salman Hydari with Malik Jawad Awan as secretary and Mrs. Jabarnaqvi supervising women’s programs, has been established to coordinate the nationwide observance. This initiative reflects the TNFJ’s dedication to preserving and promoting the historical and spiritual heritage of Islam, particularly emphasizing the role of women in its history.
