Islamabad, A recent survey by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan has found that a significant majority of Pakistanis, 71%, would choose to stay in their country regardless of the challenges they face, rather than move to another country if given the opportunity.
According to Gallup Pakistan, a nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked their opinion on whether they would leave Pakistan due to the current law and order situation. The question posed was, “Some people believe that the current law and order situation in Pakistan is very bad, so they would leave Pakistan for another country if they had the opportunity. Others believe that no matter how bad the situation in Pakistan is, they will not leave. In your opinion, what would you do in this situation?” In response, only 25% indicated a preference to leave for another country, while a resounding 71% expressed their intention to stay in Pakistan, and 4% were unsure or gave no response.
This survey sheds light on the resilience and national sentiment among the population in Pakistan, indicating a strong inclination to remain in the country despite any adverse circumstances they might face.
