Imam Kaaba Calls for Action Against Massacre in Gaza at International Islamic University Conference


Islamabad, Imam e Kaaba, H.E. Professor Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, emphasized the importance of protecting human life during his special address at the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI). He spoke at a conference on the topic of “Protection of Human Life in Shariah and Law” held at the university’s Faisal Masjid Campus.



According to International Islamic University, Islamabad, Imam e Kaaba strongly condemned the massacre of innocent Palestinians in Gaza, describing it as one of the darkest periods in human history. He called upon the international community to respect the sanctity of human lives and take action to stop the ongoing atrocities in Gaza. Dr. Saleh highlighted the special attention paid to the sanctity of human life in Islam, where taking a life without reason is strictly forbidden.



Dr. Saleh also praised the efforts of Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi and IIUI in organizing the conference on a crucial contemporary issue. He encouraged educational and research institutions in Muslim countries to focus on mutual cooperation.



Interim Education Minister Madad Ali Sindhi, speaking at the event, expressed Pakistan’s gratitude for Imam Kaaba’s visit and highlighted the potential of the youth to change the destiny of the Muslim Ummah. He also addressed the painful situation in Palestine and affirmed the Ministry of Education’s commitment to work with IIUI on Islamic teachings.



Dr. Samina Malik, Rector of IIUI, expressed her gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their support and thanked Imam e Kaaba for his participation in the conference. IIUI President H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi also expressed his gratitude for the support from the custodians of Al-Haramain Al-Sharifeen and emphasized the university’s role in addressing issues facing the Muslim Ummah.



The event, attended by the Saudi Arabian Ambassador Nawaf Said Al-Malki, vice presidents of the university, diplomats, teachers, and students, underscored the university’s commitment to fostering constructive debate on vital issues.



Imam e Kaaba’s visit to Islamabad is particularly noteworthy as he is scheduled to lead Friday prayers at Faisal Mosque.
