Lahore, The Lahore School of Economics has officially inaugurated its Mother and Child Health Care Centre at the school’s Burki campus. The ceremony, led by Dr. Theresa Thompson Chaudhry, Professor in the Department of Economics, marked a significant development in the institution’s commitment to healthcare and well-being.
According to Lahore School of Economics, the new Centre, located within the campus that includes the Agriculture Economics Research Center and the Health and Sports Complex, will primarily focus on providing preventive care to the Support Staff and their families. Additionally, the Centre will track their health records, ensuring comprehensive healthcare services for the school community.
The inaugural event was attended by families of Lahore School Support Staff members, along with faculty and administrative staff. The ceremony featured medical checkups and fresh farm fruit treats, highlighting the school’s emphasis on health and nourishment.
