Bahawalpur, Aiming to enhance the hands-on training experience for Department of Physical Therapy students, a significant meeting was convened at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Lodhran. This collaborative effort between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and DHQ Hospital Lodhran focuses on the practical aspects of the students’ training curriculum.

The meeting saw the participation of notable figures from both institutions. Following the directive of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, the session was attended by Dean Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmed. Other attendees included MS District Headquarters Hospital Lodhran, Dr. Aurangzeb, Prof. Dr. Asadullah Madani, Chairman Department of Physical Therapy, and Drs. Ayesha Bashir, Afifa Latif, and Nasir Mehmood.

Central to the meeting’s agenda was the structuring of the students’ practical training program, the procedural medical and technical treatments of patients within the wards, and expert guidance to be imparted by seasoned doctors.
