Orientation Program Aims to Smoothly Transition New Students at National Textile University

Faisalabad, 10 Oct 2023:National Textile University (NTU) initiated its New Student Orientation Program for the Fall 2023, offering newcomers a comprehensive guide to assist in their transition to university life, as per the details shared by the National Textile University (NTU). Conducted on October 10, 2022, the program, under the theme “Welcome to SET Batch 2023!”, was curated to impart essential information, resources, and insights, equipping the students with useful tools and tips for their academic journey at NTU.

Dr. Yasir Nawab, Dean of the School of Engineering and Textile, extended a heartfelt welcome to both students and their parents, introducing them to the entirely holistic education system of NTU. Subsequently, Ms. Nadia Shamim, Assistant Director of Students’ Affairs, took the stage to elaborate on the university’s rules and policies, ensuring the new attendees are apprised of the regulatory framework within which the institution operates.

In an effort to familiarize students with the campus and its myriad facilities, a student-led tour was conducted. Accompanied by faculty and Orientation Leaders (OL students), the new entrants were guided through the institution, allowing them to explore and learn more about the cutting-edge facilities, resources, and services that NTU offers. This initiative not only aimed at helping them to navigate the physical space but also to be aware of the various services and resources they can avail of during their time at the university.

The orientation program, designed to be a primer for the fresh cohort, is a testament to NTU’s commitment to facilitating an environment that is both welcoming and informative, thus ensuring students are well-prepared as they embark on their academic pursuits.
