7 in 10 Pakistanis (69%) believe early elections should be held; a sweeping 78% in KP want early elections for new voters: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan

Islamabad, April 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 7 in 10 Pakistanis (69%) believe early elections should be held; a sweeping 78% in KP want early elections for new voters.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “Some people think that early elections should be held in the country. While others think that elections should be held on time i.e., in 2023. What is your opinion?” In response to this question, 69% said early elections should be held while 31% said elections should be held on time in 2023.
