48% Pakistanis are not hopeful about the country’s economic situation in the next six months, they expect it to worsen: Consumer Confidence Index Q3 2022 by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan and Dun and Bradstreet

Islamabad, March 24, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 48% Pakistanis are not hopeful about the country’s economic situation in the next six months, they expect it to worsen.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, who responded yes to the question “In your opinion, what do you expect Pakistan’s economic situation to be in the next 6 months?” In response, 4% said will be a lot better, 24% said it will be better, 14% said there will be no change, 25% said the country’s economic situation will get worse while 23% said it will be a lot worse and 10% said they did not know.
