43% of Pakistanis say that they offer prayers five times a day in their nearest mosque: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan 

Islamabad, January 13, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 41% of Pakistanis say that they offer prayers five times a day in their nearest mosque.

A nationally representative sample of adult men from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “How many prayers do you offer in the mosque nearest to your house?” In response to this question, 43% replied they pray five times, 30% said one time a day, 14% said Friday prayers only, 2% said they do not pray, 7% replied they pray in another mosque while 1% said not applicable. 3% did not know or provided no response.
