3 in 5 (58%) Pakistanis say photography should not be allowed in Masjid al Haram: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan

Islamabad, July 18, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 3 in 5 (58%) Pakistanis say photography should not be allowed in Masjid al Haram.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, was asked the question “In recent days, instructions have been issued regarding photography in Al-Haramin Al-Sharifeen Mosque. Do you think photography should be allowed in Masjid al Haram or not?” In response, 29% said yes, it should be allowed, 58% said no, it should not be allowed, and 13% said they do not know or gave no response.
