DAAD Helmut Schmidt Scholarship 2024 Germany (Fully Funded)

Lahore, May 09, 2023 (PPI-OT): DAAD Announced Helmut Schmidt Scholarship 2024 in Germany. Work Experience is NOT required to apply for it. The DAAD Helmut Schmidt Scholarship 2024 is a Fully Funded Scholarship in Germany for international students. Applicants can apply for the Fully Funded Master Degree Scholarship program in German Universities. The DAAD’s famous Fully Funded Scholarship for new applications is open.

If you have a bachelor’s Degree (16 years) then you can apply for the Helmut Schmidt Masters/MPhil Scholarship. A total of 08 Universities are Participating in this Program. There is no application fee required to apply for it. The Scholarship is Funded by the German Government and all the expenses will be Covered. More details about the application process for the DAAD Helmut Schmidt Scholarship 2024 are given below.

Invitation of Applications for PEEF – AJK Scholarships 2022-23 (Fall-2022 and Spring-2023 Intakes only)

Lahore, May 09, 2023 (PPI-OT): It is to inform that PEEF – AJK Scholarships has announced Undergraduate Level Scholarships for the year 2022-23 (Fall-2022 and Spring-2023 Intakes only). For this purpose, “Applications Form” from the deserving students is invited.

How to Get Application Form?

Students may obtain Application Form, Affidavit from the student portal, CUI web site and PEEF Web site: www.peef.org.pk/masterlevel-scholarships.html.

How to Apply?

Please submit duly filled Application Form along with the supporting documents in Student Affairs Section, CUI Islamabad Campus for verification and onward submission.

Last Date to Apply?

Complete Application Forms should be submitted not later than Monday 31st May 2023.

Note:

Following supporting documents must be attached along with the Form at the time of submission;

1. AJK Domicile certificate.

2. Passed Matriculation or Intermediate Examination conducted by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mirpur, AJK in (annual) 2022.

3. Secured at least 60% marks in the above mentioned examination.

4. Secured admission in a regular educational institution as a full time student in the current academic year.

The Charles Wallace Visiting Fellowship Programme

Lahore, May 09, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Charles Wallace Visiting Fellowship Programme, managed by the British Council in Pakistan, enables mid-career professionals across a broad range of disciplines (see below) to undertake short visits to the United Kingdom to broaden their professional knowledge, skills, and contacts.

Level of Study: Mid-career Professional

Field of Study: Its two principle purposes are:

High-level study and research

Professional networking and interaction with peers.

The fellowship may take the form of an attachment to a university department, professional institution, or arts organization.

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants who have studied in the UK/US/Canada/Australia/Europe/China in the last 5 years are not eligible to apply, nor are previous beneficiaries of Charles Wallace awards.

A Candidate for these fellowships should:

Be a Pakistani national, residing in Pakistan, aged between 30 and 55

Show a written invitation (for the period of time applied for) from a UK institution or arts body

Normally hold a doctoral degree if proposing to undertake research in a UK university.

Grants:

Successful candidates will receive a grant of £1,500 per month and a contribution of the equivalent of £1,000 towards visa and travel costs.

The award holders are responsible for making all their own arrangements in the UK, including accommodation, in consultation with their host organisations.

Orientation Session On Implementation of Strategic Plan KPI Mapping Held

Islamabad, May 09, 2023 (PPI-OT): In the directions of Worthy President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), an orientation session for the implementation of IIU strategic plan (2022-26) Key Performance Indicators (KPI) mapping, was held at the auditorium of male campus. It was attended by implementation focal points (office of the President and all Vice Presidents), Directors General, Executive Directors, Deans and Departmental focal persons.

In the orientation session, the Strategic Plan Implementation Cell (SPIC) team comprising of Engineer Ahsan Mirza, Incharge SPIC and Engineer Usama bin Mansoor Assistant Director BIC briefed all the heads as well as concerned focal persons on the KPI Mapping tool kit (KPI document and the google form). They also elaborated the way forward for execution of the task. The team apprised of the process of completion of the google form and accessing the google tool kit. For effective execution of the task it was apprised that the focal persons shall have to gather evidence and prepare documents as per the relevant KPIs, will carry a self-assessment scoring exercise on google form while looking at the criteria in the KPI mapping document. It was briefed that departments after printing the results would attach the documentary evidences supporting the results that shall be forwarded to the concerned implementation focal points. It was informed that the deadline for the mapping activity is May 31st.

On the occasion, Vice President R and E, Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed elaborated the process, its outcomes as well as he guided on various questions raised by the participants. He briefed that the evidence based data gathered and submitted by the focal persons to the focal points shall be reviewed and then forwarded for the final report to have an idea to evaluate the performance of all the concerned focal points and their departments. He also told about the Generation of KPI Attainment report for Higher Authorities (thrice a year + 1 annual report for BoG). He also enlightened the house on the implementation plan matrix and role definition.
