Punjab University Confers PhD Degree on Muhammad Amir Fahim in Geo-Environmental Conservation

LAHORE: Punjab University has conferred a PhD degree on Muhammad Amir Fahim, son of Muhammad Ibrahim Azhar, in the field of Geo-Environmental Conservation and Sustainable Development. The academic recognition comes after the approval of his thesis, titled "Water Governance under Climate Change and Uncertainty in Selected Himalayan."

According to University of the Punjab, Fahim's research addresses critical issues related to water governance amidst the challenges posed by climate change and uncertainty, specifically focusing on the Himalayan region. The study highlights the importance of effective water management strategies in the face of environmental changes affecting the area.
