LAHORE: Founder and Chairman of the Akhuwat Foundation, Dr. Muhammad Amjad Saqib, delivered a lecture on the impact of microfinance at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore. He discussed the role of financial inclusion in creating sustainable development and met with university officials, including Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Masood Rabbani.
According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Dr. Saqib's lecture, titled "Microfinance Creating Sustainable Impact through Financial Inclusion," was part of a leadership management training session for participants from the Bangladeshi NGO, Grameen Jano Unnayan Sangstha. During his speech, Dr. Saqib elaborated on the challenges and significance of microfinance, and shared insights into the success of the Akhuwat Foundation. He highlighted the foundation's model, emphasizing the importance of integrity, transparency, and accountability in achieving progress.
