KARACHI: The Home-Based Women Workers Federation (HBWWF) is set to organize the All Pakistan Women Workers Conference on June 14, 2026, at the Arts Council of Pakistan in Karachi. The event aims to shed light on the challenges faced by women workers in the textile and garment sectors across the country.
According to Home-Based Women Workers Federation, the conference will feature women workers sharing their experiences with low wages, unsafe workplaces, and lack of social protection, among other labor rights issues. Delegates plan to outline sector-specific issues and announce collective demands to enhance labor protection, workplace safety, and fair wages for women workers.
